Job summary

Wynnstay Group PLC is seeking a Warehouse Assistant at our Haverfordwest store to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service for farmer customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake a physically demanding, manual-handling role.
• Willingness to operate a forklift safely and complete training if not already licensed.
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking.
• Loading customers orders directly into their vehicles and preparing order to be delivered directly to farms.
• Dealing with customers face to face in a professional manner.
• Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action.
• Storing chemicals and hazardous goods in the correct manner.
• Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards.
• Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling.
