IKEA Doncaster Distribution Centre is looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant to join our dedicated fulfilment team.

What We Offer
  • Start Date: 7th July 2025
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 plus a £1.50 MHE allowance (£13,930.80 per annum)
  • Part-time hours: 19 hours per week, working two days a week with 9.5-hour shifts on Saturday (6:00 am - 10:00 pm) and Sunday (6:00 am - 6:00 pm)

What You'll Need
  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload with attention to detail
  • Motivation to use technical equipment to improve productivity
  • Ability to use initiative and participate in team efforts
  • Applicants must be 18 or older due to health and safety regulations
Daily Responsibilities
  • Receiving goods, picking and packing orders, and maintaining accurate stock records
  • Manual handling of heavy stock
  • Working safely around heavy machinery such as forklifts, counterbalance trucks, pump trucks, and LLOP trucks
  • Following all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment
