Job summary

Benchmarx Kitchens & Joinery in Shrewsbury is seeking a proactive Showroom Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day branch operations. You’ll keep the warehouse tidy, pick orders accurately, manage deliveries, and help maintain a safe, productive environment.

In this hands-on role you’ll work with a friendly team, gain practical knowledge of kitchen components, and learn to move stock efficiently. A full clean driving licence is preferred.

What’s it like to be a Benchmarx Showroom Warehouse Assistant?

In this role, you are the engine room of the showroom. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our customers get exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where safety and efficiency go hand-in-hand.

• The Hub of the Branch: You’ll maintain a tidy, organised warehouse, ensuring it’s a safe and productive environment for everyone.
• Precision Picking: You’ll be responsible for picking orders accurately—because every handle and hinge matters when building a dream kitchen.
• Stock Superstars: You’ll manage deliveries, unloading stock, and ensuring our inventory levels are always ready for action.
• Safety First: You’ll champion our non‑negotiable safety culture, ensuring all stock is moved and stored securely.
• Expert Handling: You’ll operate MHE (Material Handling Equipment) to keep things moving—don’t worry, if you haven’t used it before, we’ll train you!
