The Warehouse Assistant & Driver supports the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in daily operations, ensuring event materials, equipment, and supplies are organized, packed, and transported according to Spook’s high standards. This role is crucial for the efficient execution of events, requiring a proactive, organized individual with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include inventory management, warehouse oversight, loading and unloading, and safe transportation to event locations, supporting logistics and setup.

Working Hours:

Typically Tuesday to Saturday, 7 am to 3 pm, with flexibility based on event schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organize and pack items needed for events, following detailed lists for accuracy and efficiency.
2. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
3. Assist in managing inventory, including tracking stock levels of drinks and equipment.
4. Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for each event, addressing issues under the Warehouse & Logistics Manager's guidance.
5. Monitor equipment condition, ensuring maintenance needs are documented and addressed promptly.
6. Maintain proper storage conditions, especially temperature control for beverages.
7. Prepare equipment and supplies for safe loading/unloading to minimize damage and ensure optimal condition upon arrival.
8. Transport equipment, supplies, and food to event locations according to schedule.
9. Coordinate logistics with the on-site event team from arrival to setup.
10. Oversee post-event equipment return, storage, and organization.
11. Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.
12. Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail for packing and equipment inspection.
• Effective verbal communication for team collaboration.
• Confidence in driving and navigating London, with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 25 (for insurance purposes).
• Valid UK driving license.
• Comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and physically active work.

Work Environment:

• This role may involve travel, evening, and weekend work depending on schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment managing multiple events.
