What will I be doing?

• Playing an integral part in branch operations, specifically in a small warehouse team in a busy specialist operation, ensuring adequate provision for customer deliveries, branch layout, safety, storage efficiency, housekeeping, and product accessibility.
• Loading company vehicles efficiently to prevent stock damage and minimize delivery time, ensuring delivery notes match parcels prior to loading, including cross-dock orders.
• Ensuring safe and correct delivery of orders to customers' premises, visually checking stock condition, and obtaining proof of delivery signatures.
• Assisting in preparing orders for delivery, including picking, checking, and packing.
• Assisting in all warehouse production aspects as delegated by management.
• Ensuring the safe and correct return of stock by visually checking and signing for all customer returns.
• Completing daily/weekly paperwork and maintaining a safe, clean working environment.
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements.
• Using correct manual handling techniques at all times.
• Planning and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
