We are currently hiring for a Storage and Warehousing Apprentice to join on part of an apprenticeship scheme. With this scheme you will receive full training, as well as completing an apprenticeship course with an external provider alongside your work. This will be a full time role with time allocated to training.

Job Responsibilities
  • Order Management: processing of customer orders including label printing, pick and pack of orders andcustomer liaison.
  • Inventory Management: Assisting with stock checks, maintaining an organised and clean storage area and ensuring stock is stored in the correct locations.
  • Receiving Goods: Unloading deliveries, inspecting goods for quality and quantity and ensuring accurate records are kept.
  • Return Processing: Creation of customer returns and processing of asset exchanges using inventory management software.
  • Quality Control: Assessing orders for quality and accuracy prior to dispatching.
  • Using Technology: Operation of barcode scanners, inventory management software and IT equipment to track inventory and order fulfilment.

  • Eager to learn and use own initiative to help offer solutions and problem solve.

  • Positive attitude and eager to learn and progress within the logistics trade.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills to manage inventory and communicate clearly.
  • Physically fit to cope with demands of lifting large boxes safely.

£7.55 - £12.21 an hour
