Warehouse Assistant / Warehouse Operative / Production Assistant required for a manufacturer based in Leeds.

The successful Warehouse Assistant / Warehouse Operative / Production Assistant will be responsible for stock control, packing, forklift operation, and general workshop support, with some involvement in building and testing valves using tools and machinery.

The successful Warehouse Assistant / Warehouse Operative / Production Assistant must have experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly environment (ideally with mechanical components), including the use of hand tools, machinery, and FLTs. Mustbe commutable to Leeds.

Role

• Carry out stock checks and manage warehouse inventory accurately.
• Pack, build, and test mechanical components using tools and machinery.
• Operate forklift trucks and handle heavy lifting as required.
• Support general workshop tasks involving machinery and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Warehouse Technician, Store Operative, Assembly Operative, Production Assistant, Mechanical Assembly Operative, or similar.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly environment (mechanical components preferred).
• Experience using hand tools, machinery, and basic testing equipment.
• Valid forklift truck license or hands-on experience operating FLTs.
• Must be commutable to Leeds.
