Warehouse Assistant

Location: Murrayfield, City of Edinburgh (EH11)
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £13.74
Contract Length: 6 months - start date 12th May 2025
Working Pattern: Full Time 35 hours per week (Flexible hours between 7 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday)

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in the heart of a thriving financial institution? Lloyds Banking Group are currently seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Assistants to assist in the storing and distribution of physical files in their Edinburgh Warehouse.

What You'll Do:

  1. Work in a physical records warehouse, locating and preparing paper files for review or transportation across the organisation's network.
  2. Employ safe manual handling techniques to access and move files efficiently.
  3. Select files for destruction, ensuring correct data is chosen and prepared for confidential waste disposal.
  4. Utilise IT systems for data entry and updating information accurately.
  5. Collaborate with a supportive team to maintain the highest standards of records management.

  1. A detail-oriented individual with strong team working skills.
  2. Physically capable of moving paper files and walking across large warehouse spaces.
  3. Eager to learn and adapt, with full training provided!
