Job summary

Sterling Separation Ltd invites applications for a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship in Cannock. You will join a busy warehouse team and learn to manage goods through receiving, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch, while following FIFO and batch traceability.

Training is provided by STAFF SELECT LTD with a 1-year duration and potential for long-term employment as the business grows. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with breaks, across two Cannock locations.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (desirable).
• Good overall numeracy and literacy for data entry and processes.

Responsibilities

• Receiving goods, checking for accuracy and damage.
• Booking stock into ERP/warehouse systems.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and export.
• Maintaining stock locations and labelling.
• Carrying out cycle counts and full stock takes.
• Supporting supplier deliveries and loading/unloading.
• Following FIFO and batch traceability requirements.
• Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times.
• Completing general admin and data entry duties.

What You'll Do

• Receiving goods and checking for accuracy and damage
• Booking stock into ERP/warehouse systems
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Preparing goods for dispatch and export
• Maintaining stock locations and labelling
• Carrying out cycle counts and full stock takes
• Supporting supplier deliveries and loading/unloading
• Maintaining clean, organised racking and floor space
• Following FIFO and batch traceability requirements
• Supporting returns, warranty and quality processes
• Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
• Completing aspects of general admin and data entry duties
