Job summary

Medequip Assistive Technologies is recruiting a Warehouse and Cleaning Apprentice to support our Depot team in the UK. The role offers 15 hours per week at £8.06 per hour, with training and development opportunities and DBS support.

You will assist in the warehouse, decontamination and workshop areas, learn from engineers, and help with deliveries, installations and customer queries while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Able to assemble stock.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and understanding.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in the warehouse, decontamination area and in the depot workshop.
• Work alongside the Workshop Engineers to gain knowledge and experience.
• Occasionally accompanying Engineers on jobs in the field.
• Maintaining all areas of the warehouse, complying with the company’s health & safety policies.
• Occasionally supporting visits to clients homes and assisting with installation, delivery/collection of equipment.
• Liaising with the customer services team on site on product related queries or questions.

About the role

As the Warehouse and Cleaning Apprentice for Medequip Assistive Technologies , you will be pivotal in supporting our experienced Warehouse Operatives, Driver Technicians, and Service Engineers within the Depot.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Work ing in the warehouse , decontamination area and in the depot workshop
• Working alongside the Workshop Engineers to gain knowledge and experience to undertake all aspects of the role.
• Occasionally accompany ing E ngineer s on jobs in the field.
