Job summary

Booker is seeking an Operations Clerks for the Warehouse Team to manage department administration and support operational activities. You will collaborate with Senior Operations Clerks and Team Managers to ensure paperwork is complete and goods are received properly.

You will communicate with Warehouse Operatives and assist with equipment queries, with Sunday-Thursday 10pm–6am shifts. Training and varied duties are included to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience within warehouse chambers is advantageous but not essential.
• Flexible and versatile.

Responsibilities

• Completing the clerical functions necessary to keep physical warehouse activity running smoothly.
• Monitoring pick and replenishment control screens for Ambient, Tobacco and Frozen.
• Investigating back piks, suspended piks and replenishments.
• Dealing with Proof of Delivery paperwork and with Drivers and receipt paperwork.
• Releasing orders for checking and liaising with goods in checkers and supply chain.
• Assisting in the counting of stock and in the issuing of paperwork.

• Dealing with Proof of Delivery Paperwork
• Dealing with Drivers and receipt paperwork
• Releasing orders for checking
• Liaising with goods in checkers and supply chain
• Assisting in the counting of stock as required
• Assisting in the issue of any paperwork, documentation as required
• Undergoing any training when required by the Company
• Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business

You will need

• You have sound numeracy and literacy skills
• You have experience within warehouse chambers (advantageous but not essential)
• You are flexible and versatile
• You are able to produce quality standard of work
• You have good PC and organisational skills
• You have the ability to work under pressure
• You are an advocate for Health & Safety

Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am
