Job description

Your new company
You will be working for a medical company located near Didcot in Oxfordshire.

Your new role
This is an exciting and varied role where you will be working in 2 areas, both the warehouse/stores and on the FM helpdesk. The role offers lots of variety and opportunities to develop new skills as well.

In the stores you will be picking and packing items for delivery to the various departments. They currently use a manual system but have a new electronic scanning system coming online shortly so experience with this would be useful.

When not in the stores you will support the FM helpdesk. The tasks could include:

  • Basic DIY like putting up shelves
  • Building / moving furniture
  • Decor
  • Meeting room set ups / take down

If there are more skilled tasks, there will be an opportunity to learn alongside colleagues to upskill yourself.

The role is 8am to 4pm with a 3pm early finish on a Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have warehouse picking and packing experience, some basic DIY skills, and be physically fit. You will be happy in a varied role where you move from one task to the next across 2 areas and comfortable in a role where you need to be flexible to tasks that need completing that day. You will be open to learning and developing new skills.

What you'll get in return
£12.50 to £14.50 per hour depending on experience.
6 month initial contract.
