Job summary

GET Staff is seeking a Service Engineer to cover warden call and door entry systems across Sheffield and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing, fault-finding, maintenance and installation work, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

A full UK driving licence is required, and previous experience with fire alarms or life-safety systems is advantageous. The position offers a competitive salary up to £34,000, with 40-hour weeks and benefits including pension and life assurance,

Qualifications

Experience with warden call and/or door entry systems.
Installation experience.
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and technical skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Experience with fire alarms or wider life safety systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and fault-finding on warden call and door entry systems.
Installing, testing and commissioning systems at customer sites.
Ensuring systems operate correctly and meet required standards.
Liaising with customers and site contacts to deliver a professional service.
Completing service reports and maintenance records; traveling across Sheffield and surrounding areas.
