Ward F7 at the Wythenshawe site of Manchester Foundation Trust is currently looking to recruit a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to our elective surgical ward. This exciting opportunity is open to Band 5 nurses aspiring to take the next step and learn new skills. Current Band 6 and 7 nurses are also welcome to apply to join our welcoming ward on F7 and gain experience in elective surgery.
Our surgical directorate is renowned for maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
The ward currently manages inpatient elective and emergency patients across a range of specialties including Plastics, ENT, Maxillofacial, and Urology.

We seek a suitably experienced nurse who is passionate about patient safety and delivering exceptional quality care to our elective surgical patients.
You will be an aspiring leader with the ability to adopt a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives, and colleagues. You will assist the Ward Manager with operational management of the ward team and develop a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on the patient journey and clinical outcomes.
