The South Devon Satellite Kidney Unit, on the outskirts of Torquay, is a 24 bedded nurse-led outpatient haemodialysis facility providing treatment for adult patients with end-stage renal failure.
We are looking for a band 6 Sister/Charge nurse to join our team - this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing high standards of care, strives for improvement and ready to progress to the next level in their nursing career.
A keen interest in caring for patients with renal failure and haemodialysis experience is essential for this role as you will be supporting and mentoring colleagues to deliver safe and compassionate care.

The band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse role encompasses both direct patient care as well as leadership and management responsibilities. The post-holder will be required to:
You will be supported in this position by the Clinical Nurse Manager and existing Charge Nurse, as well as the wider renal multi-disciplinary team based in Exeter. There will also be opportunities to undertake additional training to help develop competencies and knowledge linked to the role.
Working Pattern:37.5 hours per week. The working pattern will be a mixture of early (07:30-18:30)and late (12:00-23:00) shifts worked Monday-Saturday. We are closed on Sundays, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, with no overnight working required.
