An exciting opportunity to join the Respiratory team. We are looking for a Ward Sister to support and lead this excellent service.
Ward A3/RSU is a 23 +6 (29) bedded Respiratory and High Care Respiratory ward where we have patients with complex needs.
Ward A3-RSU is working along with excellent specialist respiratory nurses, Respiratory consultants, PT/OT.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in the management of respiratory patients with tracheostomy, laryngectomy, NIV, BIPAP, Chest Drain, and oxygen therapy. Support through training and leadership courses will be provided.
Informal visits are welcomed and encouraged.
The post holder will support the Ward Manager in all aspects of Ward/Department management and have a key role in coordinating and developing the nursing team ensuring that patients receive the required standard of care.

If successful, this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary.
