HCRG Care Group on Sheppey Community Hospital’s Harty Ward is seeking a Band 5 Ward Nurse to provide high quality, patient-centred care in a supportive, multidisciplinary team. Whether newly qualified or experienced, you’ll be supported to grow through our Preceptorship Programme and ongoing professional development.
The role requires flexibility for shifts on a 24-hour service, with part-time (22.5 hours per week) availability.

In this role, you will deliver high quality, patient centered care on a busy but supportive community hospital ward. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, ensuring patients receive safe and effective treatment throughout their stay. You will play a key role in supporting patients with their rehabilitation and recovery, encouraging independence and helping them prepare to return home or to a more independent setting. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will see the direct impact of your care. Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, you will communicate effectively, contribute to care planning and ensure a positive experience for patients and their families.
