An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate WardManager to lead our dynamic Frailty Ward team. This role offers the chance tomake a real difference in the lives of older patients by deliveringhigh-quality, person-centered care in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
As Ward Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive clinicalexcellence, and foster a culture of compassion, safety, and innovation. We arelooking for a motivated leader with strong communication skills and a commitmentto improving outcomes for frail patients. Join us and help shape the future offrailty care.
The successfulapplicant will work with the ward Matron to promote a culture that fosters staffinvolvement and a progressive attitude to service improvement, along withtaking operational and clinical day to day management responsibility at teamlevel. You will also work collaboratively and co-operatively with others tomeet the needs of patients and their families.
To have continuous responsibility for the ward area providingvisible professional leadership and line management for the nursing and supportstaff.
To act as a role model to all staff on the ward ensuringthey are receiving supervision, training and appraisals in line with the Trustpolicies.
Workcollaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, clinicians andother practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team.
Todeliver a high quality and effective operational service to patients withcomplex needs, in accordance with the principles and objective of the Trust andthe vision identified in the service.
Tocomplete the required clinical audits, responding to actions by ensuringcompliance with Trust and local Policies and Procedures.
To partake in the sitecoordinator rota on a regular basis, supporting the leadership of the wholesite.
