We are advertising for four Ward Manager positions across the Secure Care Division to provide clinical and managerial leadership. Ward Nurse Managers will model the Trust values of Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Respect, and Enthusiasm, supporting the Trust's ambition to achieve perfect care for our patient group. The role involves supporting service users along their care pathway, ensuring appropriate assessment, engagement, and therapeutic activity, and facilitating timely discharge into the community.
Since November 2021, a Recruitment & Retention premia has been introduced to attract and retain staff in the Secure Care Division. Qualified nurses will receive a premium ranging from £1200 to £7500 per annum, depending on the allocated area, with premia reflecting service need, which is fluid and subject to change.
The ward manager will provide professional nursing leadership, act as a role model, and demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of mental health and learning disability issues, including physical health needs. The role involves working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to promote mental and physical well-being, health promotion, psychological, rehabilitation, and educational needs.
