A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Ward Manager for Crocus Ward in Staffordshire. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality care for women in an acute mental health setting while ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate should have experience managing similar wards and possess strong leadership skills. We are looking for a professional, confident Ward Manager who can lead, inspire & oversee the delivery of the very best care on Crocus Ward.Youll be working 40 hours a week (9am 5pm) Monday Friday at Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove. Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove is our new hospital for women in Staffordshire. The service is now open and accepting referrals.Crocus Ward, our new 20 bed female emergency acute inpatient service, provides a safe and stabilising environment for women experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
The ethos of Crocus Ward is to assess and treat women in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion. With a focus on stabilisation, we support individuals to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community.**You must have experience of managing a fast pace Acute mental health ward**
