Ward Manager ( RMN ) – BRAND NEW CAMHS / Eating Disorder Hospital

Salary: £52,000 to £55,000 per annum

Location: Crawley, Surrey

Hours: Permanent – Full Time

Shift Pattern: Mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and/or nights, including on-call duties.

Summary

Appoint Healthcare partners with a reputable national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We seek an experienced Senior Nurse (RMN or RNLD) for a new specialist Eating Disorder hospital for children aged 13–18 in Crawley, Surrey.

Being a Ward Manager involves leadership, expert guidance, fostering a positive culture, nurturing talent, and ensuring high-quality care and staff wellbeing.

Requirements

• Relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD)
• Valid NMC registration with no restrictions
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• At least 2 years’ eating disorder experience in the UK
• Strong team-working skills

Key Duties

• Providing clinical leadership and expertise
• Supporting a unified service and engaged workforce
• Ensuring standards within the Clinical Governance framework
• Supervising nursing staff effectively
• Serving as an expert resource within the multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining a positive, collaborative environment
• Taking charge of the ward

Salary up to £55,000 per annum.
