Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for an experienced Ward Manager for the 25-bed Medical Ward specialising in elderly medicine at Southport Hospital. The post holder will provide inspirational clinical supervision, lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure high standards of care.

The role entails direct patient care, weekly office hours with occasional out-of-hours duties and a focus on service development and operational planning within a busy acute setting.

Qualifications

• Experienced Registered Nurse with clinical competency in acute settings.
• Proven leadership and management experience in a ward setting.
• Dynamic, motivated, and able to supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities
