Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge? Linfoot ward is seeking a courageous, ambitious registered nurse with excellent leadership skills to join our dedicated team as Ward Manager.

Linfoot ward provides care for patients with a plus-sized background, clinically unstable community patients requiring semi-acute care, and rehabilitation patients from our acute partners within Oxfordshire.

If you have excellent communication skills, are compassionate, innovative, and equitable, then this is your ideal role.

Main duties of the job
  1. Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organization at all times.
  2. Act as a role model to all colleagues, treat everyone fairly, and maintain high standards of professionalism.
  3. Lead the ward; be responsible for the ward budget and staff management.
  4. Provide skilled leadership, utilizing motivational, innovative, and change management skills.
  5. Be a skilled clinician, providing expert knowledge and complex care planning and provision.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective healthcare.
  • Take 24-hour responsibility for care delivery.
  • Ensure accurate patient records in line with professional standards.
  • Manage discharge planning collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other stakeholders.
