A Ward Manager is a senior nurse responsible for the day to day leadership and operation of a hospital ward. The role combines clinical expertise, staff management, patient care oversight and administrative responsibilities to ensure safe, effective and high quality care is being delivered.
Working as a Ward Manager, you will manage a team of individuals and together you will make a meaningful impact on patient care while leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team within a values-driven organisation. You will work with teams within the organisation to improve patient outcomes and drive service improvement, contributing to Quality Improvement initiatives, staff well being and creating a positive ward culture that supports both patients and colleagues.
