An exciting opportunity has arisen within Merseycare's complex care division to manage Fern Ward, an older person's, mixed sex dementia care unit at Leigh Moss Hospital. Candidates should possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to challenge, motivate, influence, and inspire colleagues at all levels, with an understanding of leading and managing an acute inpatient ward.
The post holder will carry managerial responsibility over a 24-hour period, overseeing the performance and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and person-centered care. They will operate as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team but must be flexible in delivering care within the ward setting.
