Job summary

Spire South Bank Hospital is seeking a Host/Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team on a bank contract. You will deliver meals and drinks to patients' rooms, assist in the pantry, make tea and coffee, and take menu orders while ensuring a first-class level of service.

You will work closely with the catering and housekeeping teams to support daily operations, respond to ad hoc requests, and help create a welcoming environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous catering/hospitality or waitressing experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• You will have previous customer service experience.
• A customer service-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and beverages to patients' rooms.
• Work in the pantry and assist with day-to-day duties.
• Make tea and coffee; take menu orders from patients.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from patients and assist catering/housekeeping teams.
