An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Ward Clerk for their Surgical Admissions Unit. This role involves managing administrative tasks, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring efficient communication with patients and their families. The Surgical Admissions Unit is the surgical front door and we receive referrals from Accident and Emergency, GPs, and consultant clinics as well as other hospitals.
We look after patients from a wide range of specialties including Urology, Vascular, Upper GI, Colorectal, Breast, and Gynaecology. We have a wide patient group starting from the age of 16 and up.
The Surgical Admissions unit is looking for a highly motivated Ward Clerk to join us.
This pattern can be adapted if required. It is also important to note that enhanced pay is applicable to the hours of this pattern.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
