Job Opportunity: Administrative Support in Geriatric & Stroke Medicine

We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic team players with proven admin skills for two full-time roles:

  1. A permanent position
  2. A 12-month fixed-term position to cover maternity leave.

Role Requirements:

  • Flexibility and reliability to support the Multi-disciplinary team in Integrated Geriatric & Stroke Medicine.
  • Confidence, excellent communication skills, and a professional, tactful approach within a busy department.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and a commitment to customer service.
  • Previous hospital experience, including knowledge of Lorenzo, is desirable.
  • Good communication and keyboard skills are essential.

Full training will be provided.

Work Schedule: We operate 24/7, requiring a flexible approach to shifts, including day/night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure are necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Nursing and Medical teams on the Frailty Unit with comprehensive administrative services.
  • Contribute to a rota providing 24/7 coverage.
  • Maintain patient administration and support ward staff and managers.
