A university teaching hospital is seeking a Ward Clerk to support a mixed sex, frailty, and general medicine ward. The successful candidate will be part of a friendly and supportive team, responsible for organizational tasks such as managing patient notes and coordinating outpatient appointments. The role includes flexible working opportunities and generous annual leave. Applications are encouraged from candidates in underrepresented communities.

Band: 2 pro rata if part-time
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
Ward 19 is a mixed sex, frailty, and general medicine 30-bedded ward. We have a large team of doctors, nurses, and therapy staff, working closely with other multidisciplinary teams. We are friendly, approachable, and supportive, and are looking for a ward clerk to join our team.
Please note that this post is subject to an initial probationary period of six months, extendable up to 12 months. A DBS check may be required for new employees. MKUH promotes an inclusive workforce and encourages applications from underrepresented groups in our community.
