Overview

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this position is Wed Fri 08:30am - 4:30pm. The salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise, prioritise and maintain the day to day administrative tasks associated with the functionality of the BWOSCC, Macmillan Day Unit.
  • Act as a focal point for patients attending, ensuring all demographic information is kept up to date in the patient’s records and on the patient administration system.
  • Deal with telephone enquiries from internal/external agencies.
  • Post holder will ensure accuracy and completeness of data input.
  • Admit and discharge patients on a daily basis.
  • General running of the Day Unit.
