A healthcare provider in Greater Manchester seeks an administrator for the Mother & Baby Unit. Responsibilities include patient support and administrative tasks for a multidisciplinary team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Administration Team at Laureate House on the Andersen Ward Mother & Baby Unit. Your duties will include supporting patients and their relatives on the Ward as well as providing comprehensive administrative support to the team of doctors, nurses, support workers, and other professionals involved in patient care.
The post holder will provide an efficient and professional service, ensuring quality service to all users, their families, and professionals contacting the Ward. The post holder may also be required to cover other wards within Laureate House, support during the absence of other administrators, and assist the Perinatal Outreach Team and Perinatal Community Team.
To be the initial point of contact for the service, respond to all enquiries professionally and sensitively, and provide a responsive, comprehensive clerical and administrative service to the multidisciplinary team to support efficient service delivery for service users and their families.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to providing administrative support to teams working with clients experiencing mental health issues. There will be client and carer telephone contact and face-to-face interactions daily, so good communication skills are essential.
The post holder may also be required to cover other wards within Laureate House, provide support during the absence of other administrators, and support the Perinatal Outreach and Community Teams.
