NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a Ward Clerk for a 12-month fixed-term position at University Hospital Crosshouse. This role involves clerical duties and patient interaction, requiring strong administrative skills and the ability to work flexibly. Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerk based at University Hospital Crosshouse. This is a fixed-term post for 12 months.
What you will do:
You will work within the Clinical Assessment Unit reception area providing a clerical and reception service, receiving patient and members of the public as they arrive at hospital. Duties include the maintenance and filing of patient confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and out-patient appointments using the computerised patient administration system, answering telephones and relaying messages.
