The Royal Oldham Hospital currently has 22 critical care beds in three pods, A, B and C with 8, 10 and 4 beds respectively. This is made up of 14 level 3 beds and 8 level 2 beds.You will be responsible for effective administration duties, booking patient appointments, call handling, email coordination and other administrative duties., You will be responsible for the safe keeping and availability of all clinical records relating to patients and the smooth running of the ward / department office. They will accurately file reports, notes and results efficiently. Professional staff that have a national Code of Conduct are expected to adhere to that Code and failure to do so could result in disciplinary action being taken. Staff who do not have a regulatory body are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and in line with the trust values and polices are all time. You will respond to telephone enquiries from hospital staff and patients efficiently and conscientiously.
You must have previous office-based experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
You must possess good communication skills, have the ability to effectively work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative, proven organisational skills and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.
