Overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person who will provide ward clerk support in the Ablett Unit. The post will be based at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan, Rhyl, LL18 5UJ. The Ward Clerk will give efficient clerical assistance to the Unit in order to ensure the prompt admission, discharge and transfer of patients. The Ward Clerk will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and deal with patients and relatives with courtesy and discretion at all times. The Ward Clerk is responsible to the Ward Managers in providing an efficient clerical service across the wards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient clerical support to the Ablett Unit and across wards as required.
  • Assist with admission, discharge and transfer of patients to support timely patient flow.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle information with courtesy and discretion.
  • Demonstrate professional and sensitive manners at all times and maintain a high standard of organisation with own workload.
