An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at The Priory Hospital Middleton St George as a Ward Clerk. You will report directly to the Admissions Manager.
The successful candidate will be part of the Administration Team, providing a friendly and efficient reception and administrative service for clients, staff, and patients, ensuring smooth reception and administrative operations.
Applicants should possess general knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, computer input, Microsoft applications, reception telephone systems, email, and photocopying machines.
As an integral team member, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, proactive, and committed to a client-centered approach, teamwork, and service development. The role requires working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with flexibility in start and finish times available.
The Priory Hospital Middleton St George is situated near Darlington, County Durham, offering individualized treatment and care for adults with mental health needs, including those presenting with complex and challenging behaviors, in a safe and supportive environment.
Our comprehensive services provide seamless care pathways, enabling service users to transfer smoothly between appropriate care stages, supporting recovery and community re-engagement, and maximizing life opportunities.
Our multidisciplinary teams care for up to 107 male and female service users across 8 wards, working collaboratively with commissioners. We focus on delivering excellent care, empowering service users towards independence, and placing them at the center of our service provision, supporting their recovery and rehabilitation.
