Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a role within the Nursing Team to support household tasks and direct care delegated by the Nurse in Charge. Qualifications

• To work as part of the Nursing Team undertaking household support tasks and direct care tasks as delegated by the Nurse in Charge.
• Support qualified Nursing Staff in maintaining high standards of nursing care.
• Assist with hygiene, feeding and mobility per therapy guidelines.
• Complete patients' paperwork such as body-maps and fluid balance charts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure nursing documentation is correct, legible and comprehensive.
• Adhere to Trust Policies and Health and Safety considerations.
• Provide an environment conducive to patient recovery and comfort for patients and families.
• Countersign entries by a registered nurse.
