Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ / GCSE equivalent in English.
• Good standard of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance to the therapist under supervision.
• Supervise patient activities and assist in 1-to-1 exercise programmes and education.
• Assist patients with personal care including toileting and dressing.
• Take patient information handover from nursing staff when deemed competent.
• Keep records of work and daily statistics.
• Check and maintain stock levels of stationery and equipment; submit orders.
• Communicate complex patient information effectively with the MDT.
• Maintain a competent level of IT skills.
