Role Purpose

To support in developing and delivering a Marketing and Communications plan for the firm that will drive brand awareness and advocacy in key markets (Principally US, Canada, Japan, Australia and Europe).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage events calendar for clients, consultants and prospects.
  • Lead the development and execution of all materials for client events such as our conference and lecture series.
  • Work with senior business development stakeholders to create and deliver marketing materials to support our distribution partners.
  • Work closely with investment writers to repurpose content for different channels, client types, and regions.
  • Support Client Service team members to put forward appropriate topics and Walter Scott - events manage presenters for Walter Scott and industry conferences and events

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work with compliance to ensure Walter Scott is not in breach of any FCA communications rules.
  • Fulfil the vendor champion role as outlined in the Vendor Management Policies and Procedures.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Events experience desirable
  • Industry knowledge, especially of North American markets
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce and CRM marketing helpful, but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
