A regional health service provider in Liverpool seeks an experienced Registered paediatric nurse for a Band 7 role in the Smithdown Walk-In Centre. The candidate will conduct clinical examinations, treat minor injuries in children, and work autonomously within a collaborative team. Candidates must be RSCN, possess leadership experience, and have advanced assessment skills. Flexible working options are available.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered paediatric nurse to undertake a band 7 nurse practitioner role in our Smithdown Walk in Centre
The Smithdown Walk in Centres assess and treat patients under the age of 16yrs, with minor illness and injuries. They are open 8am to 8pm 7days per week. The service is nurse led and offers walk-in service
The candidate must be RSCN with relevant examination and diagnostic experience.
The post holder is required to have experience in undertaking autonomous clinical examinations, forming a diagnosis and have the ability to treat patients with undifferentiated minor injuries and illnesses. They will also need to provide advice on health related issues, and welcome the challenge of working as an autonomous practitioner, whilst developing their leadership skills within the Walk-In Centre team.
The candidate must be flexible and have the ability to work across shift patterns, which are open 365 days per year. 8am -8pm.Our aim is to provide appropriate, high quality and personal interventions which will improve health and well-being for patients.If you are highly motivated, have a passion for making a real difference and can rise to the challenge of becoming an effective member of an established team, then we would like to hear from you.
