Salary: £31,619.02 per annum (£16.43ph)

About the role

InFocus supports a large number of young people aged between 17 – 36, with complex sensory, physical and emotional needs, making our setting truly unique and rewarding.

We are seeking a proactive, creative, committed, and experienced team leader to join our Waking Nights team, In this pivotal role, you’ll help deliver exceptional, person-centred care to young people with vision impairments and complex needs.

As a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading, motivating, and supporting your team to provide safe, high-quality care throughout the night. You’ll conduct supervisions, assist with the onboarding of new staff, and ensure your team feels supported and confident in their roles.

You’ll also play a key part in helping the young people we support make their own choices and achieve their full potential. Your approach will be deeply person-centred, guided by their individual needs, wishes, and aspirations.

You’ll be joining a passionate and caring team who will support you throughout your journey at InFocus Charity.

Actual salary £28,414.38 per annum based on 33.25 hours.

You’ll be an experienced care professional with a calm, confident presence and a passion for leading by example. You thrive in a team environment and know what it takes to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

You bring genuine passion and commitment to your work, seeing the potential in everyone and finding real reward in helping people achieve their goals. In this role, you’ll lead a close-knit team of dedicated staff, providing direction, encouragement, and hands-on support to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered throughout the night.

We’d love to hear from you if you have proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within a care setting, and can confidently lead, inspire, and motivate others with professionalism and empathy.

Working pattern

The working pattern for this position will be 33.25 hours per week, working on a two-week rolling rota (22:00 – 08:00), including weekends.
