Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking Night Support Workers (Full Time and Part Time) for the Extra Care Scheme in Norwich, supporting Barley Court and Dell Rose Court. The role focuses on assisting elderly residents with physical frailty, mobility, personal care, and engaging in social activities, with a goal of promoting independence and dignity.

Ideal candidates will be capable of supporting individuals with moving safely, daily routines, and recreational involvement, while adhering to Radis

Job description

Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time and Part Time Night Support worker to join the Radis Team in Norwich.

Extra Care Services: Barley Court, Dell Rose Court

Sickness and annual leave cover available.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.

The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
