The Haven in Haverfordwest provides specialist support for 14 adults with Mental Health needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities and Physical Health needs. We will encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves and support them to gain confidence and do the things that are important to them and ultimately to lead happy and fulfilled lives. Package Description

JOB ROLE: Waking Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Haverfordwest (SA61)

PAY RATE: £12.60 to £13.30* per hour

SHIFTS: 08:30-21:00PM & 21:00-08:30AM

The Haven in Haverfordwest provides specialist support for 14 adults with Mental Health needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities and Physical Health needs. Everybody supported at The Haven will have a voice about what matters in their lives and our support is focused on ensuring that their voice is heard about every aspect of their lives.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day To Day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including

  • Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
  • Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administrating medication.
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
  • Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
