About Brook View School:

The young people we educate and care for come with a variety of needs and difficulties. Our goal is to help them build hope, confidence, knowledge, and skills to unlock their potential.

We offer innovative educational experiences, supported by passionate specialists and key workers, to enable each young person to achieve their personal best in an environment suited to them.

Cambian's Brook View School provides an integrated approach to Education, Care, and Clinical support for young people aged 8 to 18, on a full-time residential basis from across the country, with complex needs related to Autistic Spectrum disorders.

Located on over 20 acres of countryside, our facilities include forest dens, classrooms, gardens, stables, and trails. Our teams will have the opportunity to develop a nurturing and creative environment for our children and young people.

Each pupil receives a tailored program for Care and Education, with rich, innovative experiences designed to play to their strengths and prepare them for the future. We foster close community ties in and around Ribchester and Preston, providing access to activities that promote inclusion and positive outcomes.

As a key part of our team, you'll play a vital role in helping children learn and develop life skills. No specific qualifications are required for this role, but a passion for helping children reach their potential is essential.

In return, we offer enhanced training programs to develop your professional skills, mentorship, and ongoing support from dedicated professionals.

We are looking for Level 2 & Level 3 Qualified Support Workers who are:

  • Passionate about improving the lives of others
  • Positive and consistent role models
  • Innovative, engaging, enthusiastic, and inspirational
  • Calm, supportive, and good listeners
  • Flexible with shift patterns on a rota basis
  • Excellent communicators and team players
  • Seeking career development and training
  • Must hold a full, clean UK driving license
  • Must have a Level 2 or Level 3 Care qualification

We offer a fully supported 6-month probationary period with mentorship and line management support. Additionally, we provide a free Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer, committed to safeguarding and protecting young people. All candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and reference checks.

If you're eager to work with a highly specialized, proud, and integrated team that unlocks young people's potential—challenging, trusting, and inspiring them—please contact us. We look forward to helping you advance your career.

Note: Cambian will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates as part of safeguarding procedures. This process is solely to assess suitability for working with children and will be conducted by an impartial panel member to avoid bias or discrimination.
