Cherry Trees East Clandon is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to keep children safe and settled through the night. You will work 9:00pm to 7:00am part-time, 30 hours per week, earning £155 per night while following individual care plans.

You will perform welfare checks every night, comfort sleeping children, and hand over detailed reports to the day team. Enhanced DBS is required or willingness to obtain one. On-site parking and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and reliable with strong communication skills.
• Able to stay calm under pressure during night shifts.
• Comfortable working independently overnight.
• Committed to safeguarding children and promoting their wellbeing.
• Experience in residential childcare desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.

Earn £155 a night as a Waking Night Support Worker at Cherry Trees East Clandon, keeping children safe and settled until morning.

Working arrangements

Location: Cherry Trees, East Clandon, Surrey

Salary / Pay: £155 per night, 30 hours (3 nights per week)

Shift Pattern: 9:00pm to 7:00am, part-time (30 hours), including some weekend work

What you'll be doing

• Carry out welfare checks throughout the night, at least every 15 minutes where required
• Comfort and settle children who wake during the night
• Follow care plans and medical guidance for each child

Household duties

• Complete laundry and light food preparation as needed
• Clean and maintain communal areas including toilets and floors

Records and handovers

• Complete daily reports and record incidents or medication given
• Hand over clearly to the day team each morning
