Job description

Adult Services - Supporting Living, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole

We are looking to recruit a female waking night support assistant to join our Supported Living team providing care to adults with disabilities in their own home. Our Supported Living Team works around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There are many diverse characters to meet and get to know when working with us.

Hours per week: Various days available. Waking night shifts run from 10pm - 7am or 10pm - 9.30am.

Pay rates: From 10pm to 7am, £13.52 - £14.24 per hour; from 7am to 10am, £12.21 per hour.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing an excellent level of support and care
  2. Performing basic household tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  3. Driving and respecting the supported person's vehicle, maintaining it properly

Essential skills required:

  • Full, UK manual driving licence
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Empathy and compassion
