Job summary

Acorn Education and Care is recruiting Waking Night Residential Childcare Workers for our homes in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area, including Rotherham. The role involves night shifts (10pm–10am), 42 hours per week, with full-time permanent contracts. A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are essential.

You will care for vulnerable children and young people with SEMH and complex needs, while pursuing a funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Right to Work in the UK and driving to sites as needed.
• Willingness to learn about Children’s Residential Care and pursue the Level 3 Diploma.

• Learn the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care and safeguarding.
• Assist team in maintaining a safe, caring environment.

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Waking Night Residential Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Sheffield and South Yorkshire areas. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Contracts available – Full Time Days
