Waking Night Recovery Worker - 1 (Whitehaven, Cumbria)

Location: Lowther Street, Whitehaven, Cumbria

Salary: £23,810 FTE

Hours: 30 hours per week

About the Role

Waythrough is seeking a dedicated Recovery Worker for our Crisis service in Whitehaven. If you have a good understanding of mental health issues and enjoy supporting others to achieve independence and lead their own recovery, this could be the perfect environment to utilize your skills.

In this role, you will support individuals through their recovery journey by providing innovative recovery and crisis interventions. Your responsibilities include developing and delivering 'client-led' recovery and safety plans, helping individuals regain control over their challenges, and maximizing independence. You will also liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to facilitate access to a full range of services.

Candidate Profile

Ideally, you are already working in the mental health field. You should be caring, consistent, flexible, creative, and able to work well under pressure. The ability to connect with people at all levels and a commitment to breaking down the stigma of mental health are essential.
