Job summary

Sense Scotland Dundee Respite in Dundee is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to provide safe, person-centred care during the night.

Working a 35-hour week on a rolling night shift pattern (9:45 PM–7:45 AM) you will support individuals with learning disabilities, maintain confidentiality, update records, assist with personal care and meals, and contribute to a calm, reassuring environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and use your own initiative.
• Strong work ethic and organised to support routines.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular keeping safe checks to ensure well-being.
• Supporting individuals with evening and morning routines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Accurately updating support plans, incident logs, and health & safety records.
• Providing personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
• Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere to enhance well-being.
