Package Description

ROLE: Mental Health Wake Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Ty Arfryn, Johnstown (SA31)

SALARY: £13.20 - £13.90* per hour

HOURS: 35 hours a week

SHIFTS: 9pm - 8:30am

About Ty Arfryn

Ty Arfryn is a 7-bed service in Carmarthen providing specialist support for individuals with mental health needs and/or learning disabilities, including those with a forensic background, alcohol, and substance misuse issues. The home is close to town centre amenities and natural woodland walks.

In January 2023, Ty Arfryn was awarded second place in the Great British Care Awards, reflecting our high standards of care.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting residents with daily routines
  • Promoting independence and fulfilling lives
  • Encouraging development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
  • Assisting with health care needs, including appointments and medication
  • Teaching life skills like budgeting and shopping
  • Personal care and domestic tasks
  • Providing emotional and physical support

Experience is not required as full training is provided.
