Job summary

We are recruiting a Wake Night Support Worker for Ashwood Place in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism and other needs, helping with daily living tasks and promoting wellbeing.

Full training and structured induction are provided. Candidates should be able to work unsocial hours, have a driving licence, and pass an Enhanced DBS check. CareTech offers benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Should demonstrate empathy and resilience in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care as required.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing for adults supported.
• Support activities, appointments and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work well in a team.
• Be flexible to rota requirements including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.
